"Fukushima: A Town of Mutual Aid" — Born from the Disaster.
We operate with the goal of embedding a culture of mutual support—the spirit of "we are all in this together, helping each other in times of need"—into our communities, creating a town overflowing with kindness.
Our immediate goal is to expand the "Otauraisama Ticket" to 100 locations within Fukushima City to establish a successful model for community welfare. Through this model, we hope to repay the kindness of everyone across Japan who has supported us since the earthquake ("On-gaeshi"), and pass that kindness forward to the next generation in our local communities ("On-okuri").
Ultimately, we hope that "Otauraisama" will become a universally understood word worldwide, as we move forward toward creating a society where everyone can live with ease.
